Dear Inner Wheel friends
We have been all informed of the terrible earthquake in eastern
Turkey
I received a mail to day from Ulku Somer, our Convention
Coordinator, and Past Board Director from Turkey, telling me that
her husband Selçuk, a former Rotary governor, was trying to find
some help in order to send 1000 shelter boxes to the disaster
area.
This disaster happened in the eastern part of Turkey where we
will have our Convention, in the western part, in few months, maybe
it is time to show our solidarity and help them either directly or
through our connected Rotary clubs , and this just before the
winter time which is always a terrible moment in this part of the
world.
